It's a bit of an odd duck. Basically it's a beat synched modulator/arpeggiator/delay with built-in drum box and amp modelling (or a multi-FX specialising in beat synching if you prefer). Does things that nothing else can do (although Axe FX II and NI Guitar Rig can do a lot of similar stuff).
There's a newer version available from mine and the best thing is, you can order a fairly inexpensive upgrade kit to take it to the latest, greatest version (two socketed EPROM chips and a faceplate).

It's a very capable, but complex machine and the user interface is a fairly clunky. As a result, most users tend to just use the presets, which only really scratch the surface (I'm hoping to get fairly deep when time allows). There's a third party PC editor for it, which makes it easier to program, so I'm going to upgrade to V3 and get that
