So In my search for a small amp that sounds really good and is really cheap(hear the desperation) I came across the Vox Pathfinder series. So I had a look and listen(via youtube and internet) and so far I am really impressed. And they are cheap.
Planning to go listen to one this week.
Anyway. Does any of you guys have one(either the 10 or 15). what do you thing about them? How do they go with pedals? I am more into the fenderish, bluesy, jazzy, funky business.
And if there are any of you planning to get rid of yours, Please let me know.

Went to play on the Vox Pathfinder 15R today. Very nice Cleans for a solid state amp. Very spacious sounding considering the speaker size (1x8). Loud enough for practice and maybe small club gigs/ Church playing. Overdrive is nice, but gets meh when you turn the gain up past half way. Tremolo is real good as well. Reverb is also meh. Has speaker extension so would like to hear it with something bigger, and with pedals in front..
Is was R1.7k at music mate in pretoria.

I honestly don't know these little Vox amps. Good price if it's decent.
Have you looked at finding a little valve amp like an Ibanez Valbee or Epiphone Valve Jr. secondhand? I think ultimately you are going to be disappointed with a small tranny amp, given what you are used to playing.

never heard of the ibanez
Only looking for a practice amp and thats why I was impressed with the vox
Ill have a look around. Dont really know where to look but ill try. ?
Another thing that I rerealized today is that tone is in the fingers. meaning even if you play the best, that dont mean it sounds good. thats why I would rather just get on playing (my bassman does not create good playing environment).
