So... I entered the Warrior race for 1 Feb 2014.
It's going to be AWESOME!!!
Did the last one this year at stoke city, Midrand... looking forward to it.

Anyone else into "obstacle racing"?

Awesome stuff ! Was entered into the last one, but a last minute business trip abroad put paid to that idea. I was to knackered when I landed back that weekend.

I did go along with the camera to support my missus who did the rookie and had an absolute blast.

Got a wedding that weekend in Feb , but will try the rookie myself in March and hopefully be ready for black ops time after that !!

I want to do all of them in gauteng next year... They introduced a "commando" level between rookie and blackops. Taking my missus along to the first one next year, doing the rookie again. So I need to get her fit...

By the end of next year I want to do black ops also!!!

I enjoy the obstacle races too. Here are a few snaps from Warrior #8's Black Ops which is the last one I did.

How's the prep going?

I've been playing hectic amounts of squash the last month and a bit... Played 3 mornings a week for the 3 weeks before I went on leave. Then played almost every day for the 2 weeks I was on leave, sometimes even twice a day. Have now ramped up my gym routine, focussing on shoulder presses and pullups and fitness!

It's gonna ROCK!!!
