What could this sell for?

Christmas time is nearing and I really need (want to need ? ) to quench Tele' GAS.

It is a Cort G250.

This has been my workhorse guitar for a while. I have found it to be incredibly versatile. I modded it to split the bridge humbucker to get a Strat single coil vibe. I also did the neck-on mod, and there a DPDT switch under the tone control which I wired to reverse the phase of the middle pickup to get those classic 'out-of-phase' tones when needed.
It has a very nice neck that plays well, no flat spots on the frets. There is a chip from the previous owner on the bottom left bout (just though I'd point it out). The guitar keeps its tuning very well, and the Wilkinson tremolo stays in tune even under some whammy bar abuse.
Pickups are by MightyMite, nice output with great clean and driven tones. Pots are by alpha if I recall correctly.

Don't get me wrong, I love this guitar, but I feel like it is time for a change. ?

So it's over to you guys, what could I sell this for?

To try and put things into some perspective for you, I've been trying to sell my Cort S2800 with a molded hard case for R2500 ono, and had very few interested parties, or just chancers offering two peanuts and a chocolate bar. Its really down to how long you want to wait to sell it? If you want to sell it quick, you need to be looking at around R1500 to R1800. Want to wait, then R1800 to R2200 if you're lucky. Possibly a little more if you have a case.

The problem with selling to the general public is that to most people all those mods you performed equal a great big "who cares?"
Most of them won't understand the mods and upgrades and it makes no difference to them. I would go with G's suggestion of the higher price and waiting a bit... 2000 or so negotiable. No sense losing out on the value of any mods... Wait for someone who'll appreciate them

I'd hang onto it and save. Unless the GAS is really bad. Like you say, a versatile workhorse. The mods are likely to be worth more in versatility than cash unfortunately, so I reckon unless you're willing to let it go for the price range Big G has mentioned, and see this as contributing to part of the Tele's price hang onto it and and add a Tele rather than get one instead ?

Great guitar, but you won't get what it's worth. That's the downside to the amazing Cort value-for-money, as most folk associate them with "cheap".

So I'd say hang on to it and save a bit longer for your Tele.

Thats why I always say buy a Tele, Yeah you might not be playing a Tele now, but you will one day!

... and Tele GAS is the worse!
