Have you any experience with this guitar or the sa series . Is it worth R2900 the amber burst version and whammy bar + the case

two of my friends have ibanez sa guitars. both of them are prestige i believe. I rate them very nice guitars. As per most ibanez, they play very well and have a nice feel. I don't think they have floyd rose, so you cant go crazy with the whammy. Good solid guitar. I don't know much about the pickups, so i cant comment on that.
BUt as I said, they play very well.
Can't say if your model is worth the money though... sorry... if its a prestige, i'd prob say yes...

I own a SA-160, similar to the SA-260, except that the SA-260 comes equipt with the true-duo humcucker and you have the push-pull option on the volume knob which gives you more tonal options. Very nice and thin neck.
As far as I know Ibanez don't currently produce any Prestige SA-series at the moment so I doubt it being a Prestige. Go see the guy and play it.

I used to have the SA-220FM. It is a pretty decent guitar for the money. Good sound and nice finishing all round. It also had the true-duo humbuckers.
O, the top of the range one is a Prestige model with a set neck and nice all round binding.
I don't think you will be making a mistake with it.
