[quote author=CDee link=action=profile;u=382 date=1232443828] Here's my entry for the Syncopation weekly challenge. I'll be entering the beginner class. Can you please just check my entry before you put in in the competition to make sure that I in fact have syncopation in there. I'm not 100% if my entry does have it in. If not I'll try again and send you another entry.

1 track and 1 take.

Did you send yourself a PM? ?

and I too am hoping I got the syncopation thing right. Please say if i didn't, it's a totally new concept to me and the first time I've ever done a track like this.

Damn, I fell asleep at my desk last night and missed the deadline. Yeah, you have the idea right Spyke.

Spyke

Cool, thanks Alan.

@Rene - Just cant take the jazz out of you... good stuff

@ Spyke - Yeah you got the the idea and yes I PM myself with my entry so that the entry formats are all the same.
@ Squonk - It's just what comes out of me I'm currently working on a sound that is a cross between SRV, Steely Dan, Jeff Beck, Joe Bonamassa, Weather Report, and John McLaughlin ( I said working on, I didn't say getting it right.) Just to illustrate my point , my Climax entry from last week and this weeks syncopate entry are part 1 and 2 of the same song.Play them one after the other to get the effect.

I'm still not sure if I got it right :-[

Well times up and it looks like the winners are Spyke (again) in the beginner category and me in the advanced category. Well done Spyke and of course CDee you did better than more than 1000 other members of GFSA keep it up. Since I got the most overall votes I will choose next weeks topic.
