Malkav And I'm not talking about birds chirping or anything like that, below is a recording of crickets that were slowed down to a ratio determined by metabolic rates, in other words slowed down so that we can actually hear what's happening: Though I do find the track name mildly annoying... It's slow but pretty mind blowing, there are actually some pretty obviously discernable melodies in it, and movements that seem to come and go and morph, now if only they hadn't included the original recording with the slowed down one, that would have been far nicer...
Shibbibilybob I heard this the other day. Very very cool. I agree about the original audio track though, it got in the way a bit. those cricket melodies kinda remind me of whale song.
Norman86 ParadoximA wrote Pure awesome. But why overdub the original speed recording, it makes no sense! WHY!? I agree... wish they would redo it WITHOUT the crappy original overlay.
Malkav Well a little searching around later and I found this is unfortunately a hoax, the original recording is from some or other album, still cool in theory, just sadly not true.
