Some gigs around Jo'burg

Bob-Dubery

12th November - Shawn Phillips at Marks Park (nothing to do with TJ's) - this is a charity gig (cystic fibrosis).
14th November - Hinds Brothers album launch (with a band that includes Sez Adamson) at Il Giardino, 44 Stanley Avenue
30th November - The Mike Slavin Acoustic/Electric project (also featuring Sez Adamson) at the Brazen Head, Sandton.
8th December - Laurie Levine and Josie Fields - unplugged show - at Theatre on the Square.

Most of these don't have on-line booking, so do some googling to find out who to mail or call.

These are by no means the only gigs. The Brazen Head seems to be getting quite busy and maintains a high standard or performer. I saw the last MSAEP show there and it was great musicianship in a nice, intimate venue (it's in a smaller room on the side of the main pub).
