Here are 2 out of 10 projects to prepare the teen musicians for the upcoming Route 40 Music festival.I would like to hear your thoughts and advice you may have that i can pass on to my daughter.
(1) Find a chord progression that you like and create your own song..She used the chords from Careless Whisper ( Seether ) and added her own stuff to it.
(2) Find a melody where the mood and text relates to the melody..Her song is a bit of an emotional song and her inspiration was based on Adele,s One and Only
Both songs still needs work on it but it doesnt have to be completed songs for the project
