cubase problem

I work with cubase sx 3 but whenever i try to open
the program this error comes up:

"Application 'Cubase SX 3.x' has caused the following error:

2

Options:
- Click <Ok> to abort."

any idea how to fix this?

I used to use it for years without any problems...

Sorry I have to ask but..... is it a legit copy?
hacked software almost always give cr*p with one thing or the other...

is your pc picking up your Steinberg USB Key? if not then that could be the indirect prob

otherwise just reinstall the entire DAW...
your tracks will still be there and any saved templates...
VST's will be there as well after install...

if it doesn't solve your prob, search on the Steinberg forums
