Going to be a good Monday for a change, taking delivery of my 62 reissue strat compliments of Shaunf on the forum.
Really looking forward to this one. If its anything like my 57 Reissue going to be great.

Well guitar was collected polished up, action reset neck adjusted and plugged into a small 5 watt Fender Champion.

Only two words to describe it and that is its insanely good. Its like playing an electric Grand Piano.
Only one small issue which I shall to address is the earth on it, when you touch the scratch plate your fingers tingle. Interesting scribbles on the scratch plate with date of assembly and marked as unit number 1. Body marked Yamoto, definattely a USA build serial number confirms this. Pups have a white marking on them like a hand written W (never seen this before either)

I have owned some really high spec electrics Tom Anderson, PRS etc and this wipes them out in terms of tone and its not even played in. (yip you cant compare single coils against hum buckers I know but this guitar is unreal.

I cannot wait to plug it into my Marshall or Jp Le Roux.

It is a keeper, no one gets this guitar unless I am ever forced to sell it. Makes my 57 reissue (which I know is a good strat seem average)
