A friend of mine pointed me in the direction of these forums. Looking forward to getting to know y'all and learning together. I'm 27 and I stay in Cape Town. I've been playing for about 13 years now i think. Lost the passion a bit over the last 3 years but have since picked up my axe again and I now wonder why i ever put it down.

Greetings Goose. I'm new to this forum myself but if I may... welcome ?
I too forgot about my guitar when I got married and put two daughters through school,
but suddenly I found myself getting divorced and spending munny on guitars, amplifiers and microphones in a vain attempt at rediscovering my lost youth. These days I play for the love of the guitar, (they say I'm too old to join the queue for the "Idols" competition...50) and there's still so much to learn... and fun to be had along the way. :?
