wait... i just realized that this really debunks the myth that all good vintage clean tones are all-tube. Who would have guessed? ? (I know there are a few examples without having to use Roland Jazz Chorus, but the Beatles which most of us assumed used all-tube Vox's, was not one that sprung to mind as an example.)
