2010 MIM Strat + 1976 MIJ Morris 12 String

Hey Guys

Here's my two latest guitars

First is the translucent blonde white strat. MIM Factory special run 2010. Ash body, varnished neck and fingerboard.
The 12 string is a 1976 MIJ Morris. I have no idea about the wood or anything on this one.

Oh snap! Those are beautiful! ? But one question... Are those screws on the 12 string bridge?? ?

Thanks ? Yes they are screws. It's built like this. The saddle fits into a little metal cavity, I'm guessing the screws close the metal onto the saddle.

That's an adjustable saddle - quite common on '70s acoustics. Tighten the screws and the saddle raises higher and loosen them and it lowers.

That 12 looks very fresh for its age! I am guessing the tone has mellowed with age. Would love to hear it someday when in Durbs

Thank You guys. Actually the 12 string had a crack which i repaired. It sounds good, I have it tuned a whole step down.

I also like the strat more. I got it for what I thought to be a good deal. There's not a single scratch on her!
