TJ's on 3 Oct

I'm sure there was a thread about this event but I can't seem to find it now. Am I gonna bump into some more GFSA'ers tomorrow evening at TJ's? It looks like it will be a good one with a nice few good sets that will take to the stage. Conrad, CostaFonix and the artist formerly known as Stratisfear, to name just the GFSA members (and former member). If you are there and I haven't met you yet, please be so kind as to come introduce yourself. I'll be without the wife and kid tonight so I'll need someone to be friendly to me ?

Conrad

Phew.... thank you Bob. That warms my heart ?

At the risk of causing even more blushing, let me just say this: The performers make the show. I invite some players and set up a schedule and then my job is pretty much done. The night fails or succeeds on the performances, not my spreadsheet or my making sure that players get tuned up in time, and so the players are ultimately the villains or, as in this case, the heroes.

Great!
I cannot tell you how much I look forward to settling down in your neck of the woods next year and frequenting such events as this - as a punter of course!
Looks like a blast!

That is great news. But you may find that neither Ifafi, nor Wapadrand are really within striking distance of Jhb. Either way, you'll be received at TJ's with open arms and your first fruit juice / coke / beverage of choice is on me. I'm curious though, who do you intend to place your bets on? I don't think I've seen any punters at TJ's yet. ?
