I am interested in repairing guitars my problem is where can I find tide bond in South Africa? To order from over sea is pricy.

Welcome
You could try different types of 3:1 marine grade epoxies filled with microbeads for strength. Where a wood to wood bond is needed ensure the wood is clean and dry, use acetone and apply both sides with neat epoxy. Carefull it is runny so keep the rag ready and wipe of any excess off immediately.
Handy tip - use vinegar to remove epoxy from your hands while it is still wet or else nothing else will.

Yup. There are locally available glues that do the job. Epidermix 372 is my epoxy of choice and if you are looking for something more traditional like hide glue, Hardware Centre often has on hand.
