Counting the days! I am getting my Tokai next week. Kept it quiet for now to keep the peace at home. My lovely wife conceded that another addition to the geetar collection is OK ? after a serious rumble. Thanks to Lance for your comms and friendly advice. Now I am saving for a Dobbie

They are quite heavy if you are used to a strat but don't worry about it, real guitars have a bit of meat on them ?

I see a couple of guitars. Really nice guitars, but they're guitars.

refuogee

Looks beautiful ? I have a Tobacco burst and I love it, its the coolest thing I have ever owned, every time I open that badass case it came with I get weak in my manparts.

I hope she sounds as beautiful as she looks!!

Stoffeltoo

Thanks Reguogee
Same happens here with her leather dress and around my shoulder I also need tissues :-[
But who cares? The sound from this baby is absolutely awesome. I will test it through the PA as well and then wind up the Marshall again. Leave does have its benefits 8)

Dear Jenna

With so many Tokai Cherry burst Love Rocks around, do you think it is wise to stencil my name on my baby with my engraver? I promise I will be gentle...

Gearhead

Congrats ma. I am looking forward to jam with you, playing her.

My 2c - if you want to personalise the guitar then just find/buy/make another truss rod cover and do an engraving on that.

Or just play the crap out of it until it gets it own wear and scars and things. That's as personalised as it gets.

Not intentionally... Look after it for sure. They just kind of end up like that after a while if you treat them like instruments rather than ornaments (or girlfriends ?).
