Quick thing..............firstly, what about the band?

Secondly, that side of town is a freaking nightmare when it comes to traffic, bargain on at least an hour to get to and from the campus, more than likely close to 2 hours each way on a bad day at peak hour - travel distance is less than 15kms and you're going from Pretoria East all the way to Pretoria West.

We just moved from the campus side of town because of the traffic.

Thirdly...............Pta rocks.

Ouch ya, traffic is a killer.. My girlfriend drives in from Wapadrand to work in Hatfield every morning, if you try get through there between 7 and 8, it's killer, not to mention when you get into the city!

So I suppose that means you'll be the person to talk to when it comes to growing plants on the forum? Ahahahhhha. That's a pretty awesome direction to be going in!

Anyway, thanks for the input, am really looking forward.

The band: Jon has been in Midrand for the past year studying at Open Window, so we have only gotten together on school hols anyway.
Even so we had some killa gigs last year. So me and Philip coming up to Gautengeleng will actually bring the band back together.

The travelling: Man, sounds horrific! My Mum and Dad got me a cool little T Tazz and I should be licensed by then, however, is there no form of alternative transport like a bus or something?

The plants: Maybe we start with something legal like Catha edulis?

Well that's one way to make some gear money ? Salvia Divinorum is also becoming popular.

There's not much in terms of public transport - that I know of least. Just rock up early and leave late ? Good excuse to study etc!

Pretoria actually has a "nicely" functioning bus system, but I don't know how far out of hatfield it extends... (I just go there to learn stuff, then I trek back home....)

I say "nicely" because those bus drivers are the bane of my existence.... It actually operates fine.

It's apparently difficult to grow as it's quite a delicate plant, unlike bosveld oregano... Luckily Hammeron is going into horticulture ?

*Disclaimer: I haven't tried to grow any of the aforementioned plants except Japanese maple and tomatoes.

To get where you want to go, you're going to be looking at 2 trips out there, one into town and one out of town, the big diffs is that you're now going to be sitting in a bus in traffic.
