New Interface Day: IK Multimedia iRig HD

So a few weeks ago i got an iRig HD.
I am thoroughly impressed. Extremely low noise levels, gain control on the interface, and i can use it on the iPad mini and my computer.

Easy to setup and use, and allows me to practice at night with an amp ?
Though, had the iRig PRo been released, i would have bought that instead because of the midi support.
Either way, at the price i paid, it was well worth it. Cheaper than buying direct from IK and having it shipped plus vat and customs etc.

Just to show the size, its 100mm long and 30mm wide. So pretty compact.

So, i was wondering today, whether i might have been better off getting the iRig Pro or not.

seeing as i have a usb midi cable for my keyboard, and the usb camera connection for ipad, would it work in garageband (and possibly the ik piano apps)?
well, the midi works perfectly. plus it registers the correct velocity too.
all i need now is a better USB microphone than the logitech one i have now, and i'll have my own little studio.

I never gave much thought to any of the above, untill I bought my wife an ipad Mini for her B-day ?. I might be looking into getting something similar just to use on the ipad when jamming at night in front of the TV or something...
