How do you guys rate the boss Boss FV-50?
I've read some guys reckon it doesn't have a decent taper...
Found a second hand one going for an ok price...

Can't comment onoperation of the FV-50, but I didn't like the whole plastic thing with them, so went for both the FV-500L and FV-500H and both of those work well.

I had one of these. It is small and compact which is quite cool. I didn't like the taper for my bass, so I upgraded to an Ernie Ball VP Jr. It has a fantastic taper for my bass, but now that I have a guitar, I don't like the taper that much on guitar. The pedal had a minimum volume set, which was really cool. I think it is worth a try. If you buy it and don't like it, I'll buy it off of you!

If it's at a good price, I'd take it, try it and just re-sell it if it doesn't work for you. Mine is great and I have no trouble with the taper, but I don't use it much.
Last time I did any foot-swelling is when I fell off my motorbike.. ?
