For all those valve heads out there , i ran across this article on the net , trying to find some valves and transformers for a project i am interested in building .. it would seem that MR Valve was shot and killed late last year .

yeah, it really sucks. Went there yesterday for some tubes. The family is looking to sell the business soon... Really does suck. Royally. This is the country we live in.

so does the family still do the business , or where can i get transformers and valves now

i need the power transformer and output transformer , and 12ax7 valve and EL84

They are still trading, but Win was the knowledgeable one... If you know what you are looking for in NOS or just want a modern production valve like JJs or Sovtek they are still a very good option. I've gotten guite a few nice valves from them in the last few months.
