Spectacular sounding specimen and not what I would expect from a SG into a Fender amp (the delay was added in post-recording). I hear some "Fool" era Clapton in there somewhere.

I hear some Trucks, you are right. It just amazes me the tone coming from a DR while trucks uses a SR. This is one of the best sounding SGs I have heard.

I don't have much experience with SGs (actually its close to non-existent) but i'm inclined to agree with you. What amazed me was the almost P90-ish (IMO) tone with a certain (for lack of a better word) "woody-ness" to it.

Maybe my brain is deceiving me :-[
