New Strat Day pics and audio clip

Good day

This is essentially a NGD topic but I wanted to also post a clip.

I got a 2012 Fender Special Run LPB body , then bought a 2012 RW neck and put on a loaded pickguard (cream with USA 08 Strat pickups)

And....

Here is a clip I recorded this morning.

Fender HotRod Deluxe Bluesman and TC Electronic Nova System

2x SM58 Mics on/off axis on AMP into a FocusRite Green Preamp

Ahh the Super95 is at my parent's house. I stay in a complex and they will probably kick me out if I were to record with that Beast.
Even if I was on Volume level 1.

PS, when we were jamming at Mojo's place, was he running a Fender Deluxe Reverb?
I still have fond memories of that tone.

Very nice! Was listening to some of my old mans stuff just last night. 'Clear Air Turbulence' by the Ian Gillan Band, reminded me of it!

Sorry. Back to your clip. I listened to it again, and i'm now very convinced that 70 -75% of tone is actually in a player's hands.

Nicely done Andy.
I preferred the sound of the 57/62. Thought they sounded a bit more chimey than the previous clips.
