Anyone familiar with "Alabama Shakes"

I haven't heard many of their songs, but I like this.

I have grown so tired of the generic auto tuned BS on the radio, so when I hear something like this it is a breath of fresh air. The 2nd song sounds like it would fit perfectly in a Tarentino movie and the last has a Kings of Leon vibe going on.

Got the album when it came out - fantastic stuff and right up my alley but not much staying power for me... they just kinda dropped off my playlists :-\
That said, I have high hopes they get better and better ?

How did I miss all those posts? I will give the album a listen. I hope they keep going, they definitely have potential.

Yeah I've been a fan for a long while now ? they're something different.

Other bands/ artists like then I like are Langhorne Slim, The Decemberists, Gov mule, grace potter and also old crow medicine show.

I love Gov't Mule! Haven't really got into Alabama Shakes though.

Hehe Grace Potter's voice just does it for me! ? the fact that she's quite a looker and plays a super sick Flying V is icing in the cake ?
