Always gassed hard for a star (charvel) but out here in sunny ol RSA, its a tough ask finding one, let alone with a reverse strat head.. so i built my own ?

Swamp ash body
Tom bridge
Bareknuckle coldsweat pup
Gotoh tuners
Flame maple neck and
Stainless steel frets..

Quite happy so far.. still trying find the optimal setup though..
Nice sounding though from the initial setup. Just want to drop the action a touch

Yes, Dime was at a time a Washburn endorsee. I think he only later left for Dean. Hence the loads of Dean Dime models on the market today. BUT, Washburn should really think about re-issuing this guitar. If there's one I've ever regretted selling, it was the one pictured above that now resides with Paul. They are SO rare nowadays, and the prices have skyrocketed.

That VMNT had a tag of R15 999 on it if memory serves. But, knowing people helps so I ended up paying 6K for it, including a trade of a mint LTD.

Actually he was with Dean first, then they closed down, then he joined Washburn, then sometime after the Dean name got bought and revived he moved back to them.

I've never been a lover of points on a guitar, mainly because after a shooter or three I tend to bump them into things and damage the points... This one just happened (as with so many others) to be the right price at the right time.

Somewhere on this guitar there is a pointy bit I must try not to hurt... :-[
