Boss BR-800 effects patches

OK so I succumbed to GAS and went to the Bothners clearance sale. I have had my eye on a BR type recording device for a while and the discounted price on the Boss BR 800 was too good to ignore. So far I am impressed with the unit and think it will be a great tool to get my improvising skills on an upward path. What I would like to know from anyone here is, are there good sites to download COSM patches that mimic a particular artist? For example, if I want to sound like SRV or Knopler for a particular moment in time, can I download a patch with the settings already configured for that artist, or is it trial and error on my own ?

Also, can I download a GT 10 patch and use it on the BR-800? I ask as apparently the BR 800 is modelled on the GT 10 COSM engine.

AFAIK, there isn't a patch exchange for the BRs, but here is a good list of resources:

It's actually a good way to learn how to use your effects unit - find rig rundowns for a specific song and then try and recreate the tone using them as a guide.
