Strymon Timeline

Hi forum, this is my first post, but I have been lurking awhile.

Has anyone had any luck getting Strymon Timelines into the country recently. I'm really nervous trusting the post office with such an awesome piece of gear, but it seems that no shops really supply them (I occasionally see a Blue Sky or El Capistan turn up at Music Connection, but never any Timelines). Anyone found a (relatively) hassle-free way of getting hold of them?

Hi and welcome. Post an official introduction here first ?
Then use the forum's search function - If I remember correctly, there are a number of guys here who've brought them in so I'm sure you'll find some info there.

Thanks, I did go through the search results but they were quite old, some going back as far as 2010, just wondered if anyone had some fresh info.

Howsit dude,

You buy direct from strymons website.
They'll post via usps, there isnt another option as far as i know.
But it shouldnt take longer than 3 weeks from the time strymon ships.
Both my flint and el capistan have been bought direct and they've been nothing but a pleasure to deal with.
Keep in mind you will need to pay vat on top of the whole cost of the nit plus shipping. Other than that, there shouldnt be any other duties to pay.
When it comes to sapo, jimc isnt too bad at this time of year, but closer to december will be a problem and it'll take longer.
But if you need help once its in the country and you arent coming right, i have a contact at sapo who is a pleasure to deal with, so let me know and i'll pass on his details.

Just checked... And only usps express mail int is available, at $63.15 cost.

matthew@tidistribution.co.za was very responsive when I made a request following the Gumtree ad some months back.

I had no idea it was matthew selling them...
Hes a great guy, so if by chance its still available, much easier getting it from him than strymon ?

Easier, and about the same price ? Actually a tiny bit cheaper. I brought in a Mobius earlier this year and it set me back around 5 and a half grand with VAT.
