Don't generalise... Fuzz & wah - the only two pedals I almost never use. ?

I literally never use fuzz, and wah I don't get to use as often as I would like, also it's probably one of my weaker facilities so I'm not sure anyone would want me to use more ?

I occasionally use a fuzz to turn a guitar sound into a square wave. Add filtering and you have an instant analog synth tone. ?

This. I can't effing stand people using wah when they haven't ever bothered to learn to use it (it's why I'm staying away from it currently. Too many other priorities to learn to use the beast). Hendrix, Clapton, Jeff Beck (and I recently noticed, Luther Dickenson) - these guys can use wah. Most guitar players basically randomly waggle the thing and it sounds pants.

Pretty much this!

Too many people step on wahs and make annoying plunky schlunky wop wop noises and think that's all there is to it, but there are players who can truly make it sing as a part of their vocabulary, it's incredibly expressive and I do envy those who have got that sensitivity to the sweep.
