dead easy in a road car, as long as it doesn't rain toooooo hard. Even the 4x4 route can be done in a road car for most of the route. i've done the 4x4 route and also the normal driving around on the regular roads. The wild life is not as plentiful as other parks as it is semi desert, but all of the cats are there. Also, if you go there around this time of the year, take WARM CLOTHING. Last time i was there, it was in June, 26 27 degrees by day, minus 5 at night, lotsa fun in a roof top tent. But, it is a worthwhile trip. The Mata Mata area is apparently the best for the big cats. If you do go, and the road is finally tarred all the way to the gates, then fine, if not, drive on the bush road, last time i went there, all four of my shocks broke on the ''road'' to the gates, and i was in a new 4x4. In side the reception at Twee Rivieren, there is a board of photos of all the damaged cars that used the ''road to hell'' - enjoy
