Start is a couple weeks away, thought I'd open the chat corner ?
Got invited to join the official premiership fantasy league, apparently it's pretty low maintenance so I thought I'd also just create one for interested parties on GFSA.
Sign up here if you're keen:

Good stuff! I'm in (and this season I am not going to lose interest after a month when my captain is sent off and half my team get injured). Not sure if anyone would be keen, but if there are enough guys interested we could maybe put in some money to keep people interested? Have an end of season prize for the top manager but also 'manager of the month' prizes etc?
And Arnie, when is Fabregas going to join United?
?
?

Bah! I can't believe he'd even consider it after all his badge kissing Arsenal days. That said, to be the main man big cheese in the United midfield has got to be better than being a Barca bench player.
We could see maybe about a little bit of cash, not sure how many interested parties there'll be.

Good final pre-season win for the Gunners against City. Feeling positive despite the lack of any new players of note. If United don't sign anyone more then for this next season I think they might be in the 3rd/4th/5th battle along with Arsenal and Spurs.
So my predictions then assuming United don't sign Fellaini/Modric:
1) Chelsea
2) City
3) United
4) Arsenal
5) Spurs
6) L'pool
.
.
.
18) Norwich
19) Hull City
20) Palace
So Cardiff to stay up then.

Haha - okay, let me give this a bash...
Still so many factors - United will win by more points if they get some decent signings (and by Feb if Ronaldo comes back ?) And Spurs a lot depends on when/if Bale leaves
1. United
2. Chelsea
3. Shitty
4. Spurs
5. Arsenal
6. Newcastle
7. Liverpool
8. Everton
9. Swansea
10. Aston Villa
11. Fulham
12. Sunderland
13. West Ham
14. Stoke
15. Southampton
16. Crystal Palace
17. Norwich
18. West Brom
19. Cardiff
20. Hull City

So Moyes achieves more in 90 mins with United than he did in a decade at Everton ?

And some of you would of seen lambert score the wining goal on Wednesday too.....

I'm just glad my team didn't choke on their first game... 1-0 against Stoke is good enough for me 8)

18 hours ago my sister posted on Facebook, "Liverpool are top of the league, ?".
There were 7 minutes to go in the Man United game, I replied, "for 7 more minutes". ?
It's going to be a fun season, possibly one of the best ever.

Haha you have jokes hey.... ?
But yeah I'm looking forward to this season. Liverpool seem to be out of their slump (hopefully!), Man U is under new management for the first time since Moses parted the Red Sea, Arsenal will still probably be useless, some strange transfers happened during the window and now there's goal line tech! Defo's one to watch ?

Looking forward to Jose walking onto the field...welcome home. 8)

So not much has changed: United top of the league, RvP scoring for fun (although Welbeck looks like a completely different player - how was that finish for his second goal?), Arsenal in a shambles, Sorry Arnie, Mourinho back with an uninspired 2-0 victory (how can someone as enigmatic as him play such dull football?) and Liverpool scraping past Stoke (who could have scored 5 if Reina was in goal - Mignolet was a great signing). So good to have my football back ?

I wouldn't go as far as to say Arsenal in Shambles.
As a liverpool fan, I have been watching with great hope as Arsenal stutter through the opening ten games every year for the last five, and somehow they always manage to right the ship and dock above fourth.
Looks likely to be an exciting season and it breaks my heart to say that I will be missing any live game played on a saturday (except the late slot) until february/March as I build my acoustic guitar at Casimi on a saturday.
I'll miss the football, but not a chance am I missing my guitar building haha.

A 3-1 loss at home to a team who looked destined for relegation last season, fans turning on the manager 90 minutes into the new season, no sign of any of those new promised transfers, a brittle midfield and a tough away trip to Turkey midweek for a Champions League qualifier, which if they don't get through to, would be a financial disaster. Okay, not a shambles, but not too rosy either 8)

Fans not turning on the manager per se, too much respect but certainly saying they have to spend money and I guess sharpish too...papers full of it....

Look it wasn't a great start for Arsenal, but this is the same side that scored the equal most points in the second half of last season. On Saturday a couple of things didn't go their way and Villa made them pay. No reason to panic just yet. A few new faces would be nice though.

The problem for Arsenal, is that there isn't really much space for error.I think united, city and chelsea all but have the top3 wrapped up already, so it's really only 4th to play for. Finishing 5th or 6th this season has giant consequences for Arsenal, I know this, I am a Liverpool fan. Remember when we used to compete at the top?

Arsenal looked awful last night ?
