Sure, but thats nowhere near as ruler straight as the MJT bodies I see on eBay or Ez's Tokai. If it was 'vintage correct' it would be far more obvious on the older models plus fender would have done it on the '52 AVRI Tele surely.

It's extremely resonant. Just the acoustic soud of this Tele puts my Agathis bodied X-1 to shame. It's quite a full spectrum of tone as well. Kinda has lots of mids, treble and bass. The sound changes drastically from pickup to pickup. Major bass and mids from the neck and bright and twangy from the bridge and really thick and full in the middle position.

Thank you, actually though, you have heard of NOS, she is more POS, having had a very hard life (before I got her) but she is MINE!!! I have had her well over twenty years now and she is a part of me.

In my ideal world all Tele's should look used like that! In fact my ideal tele would have that neck, and your toilet color (maybe a little lighter towards "Sonic Blue") for a body!

Can't say, I've ever heard someone asking for a toilet-coloured guitar before!

I think that a Telecaster will really bring out the musician in you. They have some serious failings (is it fair to call them that?). There is this enormous hype and aura about them. When you pick one up and try and play one in a band setting, the sound is 'too thin', the pick ups may be microphonic - "Oooh let's change them!" -and perhaps end up with something that isn't a Tele in the true spirit of the word, there's no whammy - UGH!!! Just keep using it - as it is! Learn how to use the tone controls, your fingers (!!!) and the amp. A crappy Telecaster, if you persevere, will teach you a heck of a lot about playing guitar . (Rant over - now let me return to my Carlsberg Stout whilst I freeze my butt off in overcast Blantyre, Malawi).
