So I spent my whole day with my guitar just jamming some songs and practicing. I've been neglecting it due to work. ☹

Exact same thing! ? 'Twas a good day! I spent the whole day learning some new techniques and focussing on slowing down my playing to really focus on the notes ?

Played for a few hours (guitar and drum pedals). Fixed the wife's Roland keyboard (temp tho - it really needs replacing).

Bought a stereo Radial DI for my electronic drums. I'm chuffed about that - I was looking into them last night and thought I'd have to wait a bit to get one. Then one popped up on Gumtree today, so I pounced.

Wrote a first aid exam in the morning, but sent most of the afternoon getting to know my electric. Slowly starting g to suck less on the skinny strings

What level of first aid? I have level one. The job offered it so I thought why not?

I know! The stereo passive one too (ProD2), which was the exact one I wanted and the one I least expected to find secondhand.

Very interesting Guitar day, sold one of my electrics, second one this week and acquired a really nice taylor K22.

I watched the van Halen story whilst changing the strings on my guitar ... Eish it needs a setup badly... action is so high that my buddies acoustic is better than it is... I want to research how to do it... had to lift the bridge a bit as I was getting some dead notes cos of ths bad action. wondering if the damaged neck has anything to do with it or if I am just over sensitive now... also when I was looking at getting a new guitar I played a few... so now I know what "nicer" feels like also... lol.

after that I watched school of rock... then spent a good couple hours jamming and practicing for today's two services at church. was a good day all in all.

Hectic weekend - with Football Games, Lifting the kids around, trying to catch up time with the wife, a spot of gardening but still managed to work out "Sunday Morning" by Maroon 5, not difficult as there aren't many chords, but I needed to come up with a bit of a "percussive style" version as my daughter has entered the eisteddfod thingy and this is the song she chose and she wants me to play guitar while she sings.

Had to jazz up D7, G7 and Cmaj7 and add a bit of percussive playing to make it more appealing.

I have grown to like this song quite a bit

Cleaned gutters and then fell of the ladder...how is this guitar related?? Hurt my arm that I cannot play now... :'(

Yip, that's him. I did one of each - Love Will Tear us Apart by JD and Regret by New Order. I love his stuff - his riffs and playing is so prominent that its almost like he plays guitar with the bass (if you know what I mean?)

I didn't play at all on saturday, but I spent the afternoon making the tail block and heel block for the acoustic guitar I am building at Casimi Guitars.
I also spent a good portion of the afternoon sanding between the braces on my african blackwood back. Steel wool sanding for the smoothest finish.

Spent the morning arguing with the vocalist in studio so that kinda counts.

The evening reffing a local mma show. That doesn't count.
