We went to watch Quartet the other day at Cinema Nouveau, and I enjoyed it immensely. What a lovely movie.

Alan mentioned some of these, but I mention them again:

I enjoyed that one!
Some others, Walk The Line, The Blues Brothers, the Doors an loads others.
There's also movies that just have brilliant soundtracks! Can't forget about those!

There is a great one with Billy Connolly and Jimmy Nail about a rock band that gets together after 20 years, a good laugh - Still Crazy

Calm down skippy... I am already going to be broke in very short order on JUST the "music-related" movies... if we get into the good soundtrack movies I'll be selling kidneys and stuff... lol...

If you guys have not seen Walk Hard, then do yourselves a favour and watch it this weekend, the movie is awesome and probably my fave movie of all time, I did my 9th watching on monday evening..... the music on there is awesome and really well written. i even got myself the soundtrack.

Another good one is actually a series called Flight of the conchords..... although its a couple of years old it also really good.

Of coarse Sound City was good Documantary as is:

Last Days Here(Andy Lieblieng Story) which is pretty hectic.

Anyone mentioned "The Rocker" yet? This one and Still Crazy is a reminder to all of u young folk... when you watch an old man like myself playing... there's pain involved so be gentle with us ?

Also check any movie directed by Cameron Crowe for a good sound track, he directed Almost Famous and Into the wild. Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam performed every song on the sound track and wrote almost all the songs as well.
