Yeah. Great investment, but a vintage beater is more practical for playing. Beautiful guitar. Congrats on snagging it. It's incredible what's lurking in SA.

Edit: We now note that we have everything from a pristine golden-age strat to well-loved budget off-brands. Isn't it nice when everyone can play? ?

Vintage Guitar, that strat is incredible. I don't know how you sell them, I'd want to keep them all!

Hmmmmm... a killer dilemma guitar!!! INCREDIBLY valuable - that's a pension in itself!!! But so mint that you don't dare play it!!! It is absolutely beautiful!!! If it was mine I'd sell it to a collector and buy a beat up '63 that I could play comfortably. You have an amazing guitar. Congratulations!

As a matter of interest, what type of neck does it have? Mine was a 'B' but felt like a baseball bat.

Ok so .... I got me a Vintage mahogany strat, and .....it sounds pretty good

Notice the 1 Vol 1 Tone config.

Nice looking guitar. A bit borderline on the body shape rule, but I guess people can self-police as they see fit ?

I haven't taken the neck off to see the neck stamp but it feels like a typical late 63 B neck profile.

MIJ in 1990 Squier. MIA std pups, Locking tuners and Chris form Marshall Music put some new fancy wire in and the tone came alive. I love this geet.

My Strat...and Tele ? Took it with me on a road trip I've just arrived back from, but it saw very little playing time ? I really love this thing :-[

That is a bit of a ladyboy in terms of strats. You have to look twice but still aren't sure.

It would be pretty cool if it had a piezo in the bridge.
