All in all a very high level of musicianship and the tracks are all great! Almost tough deciding. What it boils down to for me is how the track would sit as the title tune for a TV show where there are perhaps some credits and a visual introduction to the actors and how memorable it would be. Not as underscore or the end titles track. I'm also assuming this was meant to be for a national prime time TV show.

I didn't think to visualize anything other than a cooking show as I did not understand the title. It would have been cooler to go for a drama or sci-fi or something.

Nice work everyone....I was pleased to hear all the entries and the level of expertise. You should all write for TV.

JT as far as the 4 instrument rule......mine is 4 instrument tracks only. Piano, Bass, Guitar, Drums. No overdubbing...zip, nothing, nada. I didn't hear anything that blatant in the other entries........well, nothing that bothered me that much....but I'm listening on crappy laptop speakers and I don't have my hearing aids in....... ? ?

LOL...on a second read that sounds bad. It was meant as a joke about my laptop speakers being low volume. I listened intently to every second of all the entries and enjoyed them all..

Man I liked all these entries, but DrGonzo's entry was just awesome! I can see actor names fading in and out in that one, along with a nice little drum-roll at the end to dramatically display a show title. Bravo, good sir!
