If it's good plugs, good cable, and under 10 years old, then keep on fixing it until it ends up as a pedal interconnect. ?
If it's good plugs but bad cable or good cable older than ten years, replace the cable between the plugs completely.
If it's good cable and bad plugs, replace the plugs.
If it's bad cable and plugs, throw it away.

Cables are consumables IMO - regardless of quality. Moulded plugs slow down the oxidisation a lot, but they are still prone to damage and when you repair you have to replace the plugs and lose the OFC thing. Also very IMO - the moulded plugs on the PW cables aren't that great.
