Thought I'd share this...

Hi everyone,

I recently posted a video of one of the tracks from my second solo album http://www.guitarforum.co.za/clips-for-review/uploaded-new-track-shot-in-studio-entitled-'blues-parade'/,

and made mention of the fact that all the guitar tones were made using the MI Audio Crunchbox and Blues Pro pedals. The video was noticed by the MI Audio Australian team and I have been invited to be and am now an artist liaison for MI Audio! This allows me to have an "artist" page on their website and to receive gear from them. They will also promote me and my music to an international audience.

I will be receiving my new "Super Crunchbox" and "Super Blues Pro" to test shortly.

Yes, it is very exciting as these pedals play such an important role in my own setup.

I still haven't found a better "Marshall in a box".

I plan to do a video once I receive the new Super Crunch Box and Super Blues Pro.

firstly congrats on the recordings /cd and getting the endorsement/artist liason ... a HUGE feather in your cap to get noticed out of the "herd"

and then secondly .....

so now in a sence you represent the company and their endorsement/promotion and free gear means you affiliated closely to them ...... so then according to current forum rules ........as i understand it you MAY NOT personally review any MI audio pedals for us here on the forum........ which is very sad .... as you now have an inside line to the company ....

surely it would be beneficial if the administrators re-consider that law.....and we all know we have people directly involved in the biz on the forum, (Chad,TokaiSA ,bottledtone, stuart and the list goes on ) .....

but hey rules are rules...but also i believe rules should be challenged too .....

Yes, I realise that. If I do something with the gear it'll probably be a video of a track which will demo the products on their own.

Yeah peter real sad that as a forum we can't openly discuss the gear directly with the endorsee as obviously they ( you) have worked out how to get the best tone from it ......
