Is the box as big as it looks in the pics? And is the pickguard maple or cream colured plastic? I can't quite make it out.

Hi Alan, yes the box is pretty big and the pickguard is maple not plastic. Haven't been able to put it down since I got it......

Hi, yep picked it up from Mark............wasn't sure if he's a guitar player or not. I think he go the guitar from someone else and was just passing it on.

yeah I don't think Mark plays guitar. He is a highly accomplished sound engineer though, doing a lot of work in film.
