peterleroux Alan Ratcliffe wrote I'm not wild about aluminium pickguards, but the wood finishes are great. That green strat is tasty, but I think a parchment pickguard would look better. Brown pickguard looks ok on the blonde tele, though

andrewjbryson Beautiful! Fender probably wanted this series to have a distinctive look so they sticked with the brown anodized pickguard. I think it works. Very cool
