So today I was visiting a friend when she mentioned she used to play guitar. So, naturally I asked to see what guitars she had. After searching the garage we found two old cheapie acoustics and a MIM Fender Tele. Since it was just being left all alone there ☹, I asked to borrow it :-[ so now I temporarily own a gorgeous little guitar.

Now me being a metal guy I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I am right now ? I am pleasantly surprised to say the least. All she needed was a fresh set of strings and she plays like a dream

I'm very tempted to buy it off her, but being a student money is rather elusive ☹ at least I'm allowed to borrow it indefinitely. In her words "rather let it get some love and use than sit in the garage" ?

Haha you guys make very convincing points. What do you reckon it's worth. From the serial number its a 2006 model, it also has a little Fender 60 button on the headstock

the 60 badge just indicated it was made in Fender's 60th Anniversary year.

but im sure thats a fair price tbh.. others will chip in too...

Well it's in great condition, no scratches or anything, so I suppose upwards of 5k then? If I decide to buy it it'll have to be in installments then ? really loving it so far though, but I'll wait for the honeymoon period to wear off first
