Acoustic guitar with built in amplifier

something i've been wondering about now, gonna need a guitar to do some busking with, but acoustic guitar and cape town winds dont really work well together, so i thought of taking a cheapish acoustic and building a speaker and amp into it, that can run of a battery, i'm not too concerned about tone, more about volume, and no using and amplifier is not and option, and i am awar of those pocket amps, but would like to find out if this is possible ?

something like this, i like the idea of running the output into a looper and back into the guitar:

Space is limited and battery space is too, so I don't think it's a great idea. Get a portable amp rather.

How about getting something like this:

Build the pedal straight into the body with a speaker, power might be a problem, or get a Pignose amp. This idea has always been at the back of my mind. Someone should try this.

The main advantage of producing the sound outside the body would obviously be that you prevent direct contact or projection of the sound onto the soundboard or strings, so you can reduce feedback.
Why don't you focus on getting the amp into the guitar case, like Danelectro did in the fifties? All you need to do to get onto the street with a setup like that is to prevent money from being thrown onto the speaker ?

why not look at a semi hollow instead of an acoustic with the speaker?
it might be easier than an acoustic with a speaker?

cant remember who make an electric like what im describing above, though its a solid body..
