Yeah - very underrated because it is relatively low power. I still prefer a Strat pickup at the neck, but the Tele has a great character to it.

I like the middle position ? One of the best sounding teles I have heard was an Andy Summers signature tele, with the bucker in the neck.

Nicholas, I really like the neck tint on your tele. Very cool.

The figured neck is very pretty. It needs a little bit of a setup, but luckily it doesn't seem like too much work is needed.

Duuude I feel the same! I just pieced together my Tele for a trial run and damn I was blown away! ?
I've always been a Humbucker guy (never liked Strat singles...) but these Tele singles are something else! I have an overwound bridge pickup which is ballsy and drives my amp hard but the neck is so sweet sounding! ? it's so clear and articulate!

I'm a changed man....

But enough ramblings.... Nice guitar! Enjoy it! ?

Two peas in a pot Chocklit... I want to put in a overwound bridge pickup and just have ballsy heaven when the tow pickups combine.

You know I've never been a fan of high output pickups but this one is an exception ?
I won't lie the middle sound isn't as ballsy and thoaty as one would expect (probably due to the large output drop from bridge to neck... It's more subdued but fuller sounding.

I'm thinking of trading out these pickups for a set of Fender American Standards I have laying around when I open it up again to shield the cavities ?

GFS premium set with an overwound bridge ?
The Fender set seems to have a very under wound bridge so I just want to try out that set and see the difference ? but if I decide to get rid of one I'll let you know ?
