It's a good
performance. A good performer can nail an audience to the spot with just a guitar
or their voice. Self assurance helps - there's nothing worse than someone ill at ease with no self-confidence. A good performance doesn't have to be technically perfect (in fact, a perfect rendition of the most difficult piece of music by a player who breezes through it emotionless won't garner the same response as a more simple piece of music with more of a sense of effort).
The OP is a good example: it's not the most difficult piece of music for guitar, voice or drum, neither is it a perfect rendition, but he's playing it with conviction and style and the overall effect is impressive - even to us players.
