Please recommend a speaker cab...

I have a Marshall Plexi 100W JMP super PA and I need a cab for it. It has to be something I can actually source locally. The tone I am going for is Free-Alright now, AC/DC, basic classic rock tones. Any suggestions?

The cab itself is less important than the driver (speaker) in it. The speakers that will give you the 'classic rock' sound you're looking for will be the Celestion Vintage 30 or G12H. You will have to decide whether you'll be going for a medium sized cabinet they call a 2x12 or a full sized 4x12. Your 100W Plexi will not blow up a pair of new Vintage 30 despite what the old wattage name suggests, so you do not have to go for the 4x12. The larger cabinet will break your back, the bank and possibly some window panes but they're very cool things to have.
When going shopping don't forget Gumtree, Junkmail etc. You will find some cabinets with those speakers in the classifieds here as well, e.g. a Marshall 1960.

Greenbacks or Vintage 30s are both good options -both classic sounds, but different.

Listen to clips of a few different speakers (Blue Bull Dog, Greenback, Vintage 30, G12H, Jensen C12N) here at Proguitar Demo and get an idea of what you are looking for. They are used on a Dr. Z Maz 28 amp, which isn't a Marshall (but has a bit of a Marshally character), but it gives you a good idea of the differences between them.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.
Unfortunately the basket weaves don't come up too often. I'll keep an eye out for a cab with greenbacks or vintage 30's and probably go used as new gear prices hear are insane. An attenuator probably won't be a bad idea either ?
