So Lance comes into my posse today, bringing in some demo guitars for me to check out.
Firstly, let me say, what an incredibly nice and friendly man, and we talked $hit for long
way after the sale pitch.
Then the guitars, man they are nice!
looked at a Goldtop, bass and a Firebird, all which we probably gonna end up buying soon.
The guitars are beautifully crafted, feel and playability are great, and Lance took them to Grant to have them
setup before hand, the man knows to invest his time and money in the right way.
how many times did I take an axe of the rack just to see i could fit my whole head between the neck and the strings!?
Really impressed with the brand, and with the dude bringing them in, what a combo!
I encourage you all to go try them in the shops, as someone who owns real fenders and gibsons I really cant tell the difference
in the instrument, only in the amount it sets you back ☹
All that pushed on my Mark Beling, good old friend who introduced me to his (quite a) few Tokai's that blew me away.

Coupla things wrong with Lance. Off the top of my head one thing comes to mind and that is that he thinks the Beatles are the mutt's nuts. Would you believe? Maybe other things as well but I cant think of them. But him and the guitars - just sweet hey.

Top Guy and Top guitars. Love my Tele, bought last year. The transaction was smooth and I was informed at all times re courier to Cape town etc. Excellent Service in an age where service is almost non existent.

Funniest thing about the guy is, if your guitar is good/ sounds good, he compliments it even if it looks like crap (my shatocaster). He doesn't need to push other brands down to make his look good. I desperately want to get a Tokai neck for my Japanese fender. Just cos, well, it should say "Tokai" on the headstock. Hehe

well, i own three tokai guitars. the last one i purchased, i sold a prs custom 22 to finance. that should tell you a lot about the respect i have for the quality of these guitars. (the fact that i was also able to finance the purchase of an albion 35w amp should tell you something about the affordability of these guitars.)
the motto of the jse used to be (no idea if it sill is) dictum meum pactum (my word is my bond). words i would have no problem attributing to lance. cool guy. cool guitars.
