Carbon fibre to build guitar ?
It's already been done commercially http://www.blackbirdguitar.com/
These ones are graphite http://www.rainsong.com/deal/
However, not sure how you could use it for a home build project

Sure. Done a few times already - some companies specialise in it: Blackbird, Rainsong, ME Guitars, XOX, Gus Guitars, et. al. all make carbon fibre guitars. Modulus was making carbon fibre guitars and bases in the '70s

A while back Peavey bought CA and at the time I asked a rep from Tuerk what about CA in South Africa. And he reckoned it just makes no economic sense to bring here becasue noone would buy them. Well, I would buy one if they were here.
I like how Allan mentions all the brands using Carbon Fiber except for the one I'm not allowed to mention ?
To give everyone a hint it starts with an A and ends with a Damas... ?
