Hi Guys
So i finally managed to do a valve replacement on my Cub12R. The Amp is now a 100%. i have never owned such a practical piece of gear.
It turned out the valves in the power section was microphonic, Which made this irretating screetching noise. Well thats now resolved and im loving this small amp. It's a pity these amps are made in china, but heck, for what i paid for it second hand was well worth it. If i had a second chance i would do it again.
I had a NAD post in the Your Gear Section stating I would be looking at doing some mods. I don't think ill be doing anything to this amp......accept a new speaker.....somewhere down the line. Has anyone used one of these in at a live performance ?
