THE BEST one out there

The "best" out there! Everyone likes the stuff they use, but there must be some kind of margin to go to. In your humble opinion, what's the best? I'll start. Over the years, a lot (nay, a shitload) overdrive and distortion pedals have made their way through my rig, and even up to one point I just gave up! I just used my amps overdrive section (Fender Super Sonic). But after a while as the gear bug bit, I decided to get rid of the useless pedals and get the ones I thought worthy, and the ones that made the cut was: The MI Effects blue boy! Beautiful boutique pedal, with a sweet yet strikingly dangerous punch to it! It does more than you would expect it to do! It's an overdrive pedal that can easily take the job of a distortion pedal aswell (If you are not the most high gain player!) Other than that, I use a TS-808 screamer, because it's just good, nothing more, nothing less, it's a good tone! The Green Rhino, also a great pedal, has to go because I just don't have the need for 3 on there! (Selling if someone is interested) Then for effects I use the Nova, and it's great! Especialy for a player like me that aren't really that big into effect, and if you just need one every now and then! So tell me forum, what's THE "BEST"???

hey man- got it at music connection! no idea if they have stock left. last time i was there they didn't. its expensive man- R2800 or something like that. i traded a few things etc.

Since I got the Ibanez TSA30 amp I mainly use the built-in Tubescreamer pedal to drive the amp into a blusey overdrive. To kick in more drive I use the Vox Ice 9 pedal. I use the Ice 9 alone as well and use the more switch for more drive. This gives me more tonal options. I love this combination.

Having said that I miss my MI Audio Blue Boy Deluxe especially since I got a Vox Satchurator. Would probably have been to use it as both a volume and mid boost for the Satch. Does anyone know of a pedal modder in Cape Town? Want to mod the Satch pedal.

I love that pedal, although it does depend what you're playing it through.

From the last time I played (close to like 15 years ago) Ive found that the quality of pedals have gone from oooookayishly crap, to, "OMG, did a pedal just do that?!"
Im really enjoying the HOF pedal, I bought a few weeks ago ? Today I got the AmpliTube 3 rig, as well as the Fender and Hendrix standalone software bundles. Im just needing to get the correct jack adapters, and Ill get the chance to try it out ?
