Hi guys and girls, this is my intro post...I consider myself a well surfed man, but I've only recently come upon this forum, a real shame it took so long to find ? Anyways, Im sure most of us here are guitar(and music in general) nuts here so I hope i can share some cool stuff with everybody.
I live in joburg, in the west rand and i build and repair valve guitar amps for a living. Im a total rocker by nature and I need loud, overdriven guitar tones to sustain my daily existence. Ive been playing guitar for 13 years now, and have played through sum very cheap and very expensive gear, only to realise that a even R50K amp & R20K guitar CANNOT make you sound like Gary moore, but you can make it sound crap...
