Upcoming sales?

Anyone have any headsups on sales? I asked at Marshall Woodmead and they said they would prob be having a sale at the end of August... Does anyone have info TOMS (Sandton or Braamfontein)?

Ive been a PRS man for years, started with the SE series until moving on to the USA's, best guitar for me.
As previously said, wait and the right one will come along, I picked up a USA dirt cheap when I least expected it and it was my dream guitar. So I sold all my other PRS's, Gibby's etc havent looked back since.
Dont get me wrong I still look at the occasional deal ?

I'm convinced that my PRS is the perfect one for me, and I've not been happy with any of the others I have ever played.
I played through each and every PRS they had at www.guitars4you.co.uk and my custom 22 artist package was the most comfortable...just feels like butter.
I've played many since, but none of them suite me quite like mine.

Im staying away from shops and junktree for now , i still have loads of gear to sell off. I sold my red USA Tele STD two weeks ago. :'(

Don't knock the older PRS SE Models (even the new ones) they are exceptionally well made and not well made for their price but well made period.

The guy said that they tend to stagger them... so there might be another store having a special the end of july... best would be to call your store and hear when their special is.

lol... i really shouldnt be buying more gear when i have other stuff to pay, but sales are good things to go to!
i just have never been to the braamfontein store! and it would be a fair bit more PT than climbing on the gautrain to toms sandton! :-[

I would assume that Sandton would have more high end stuff... Sandton always has the better stuff... In life.... That's also why we exploit them with stupid stuff like Wakaberry and Topshop ?

But yeah I dig the Braamies shop ? it's like historic and stuff and I just generally dig Joburg itself

As for too much gear.... There's no such thing! ?

the dude did say that they were under new management...
IMO if the sales have always been of epic proportions and now they aren't it is a bad move.

Yup... Lots of people were nice and peeved that that... The shop is still pretty full... By this time last year you would struggle to find a mic stand... Some things like cases and effects were quite cheap but not the actual gear

Yeah, wasn't too impressed either- nothing that really jumped out at me, some decent prices on some of the amps and pedals, but not one guitar that I would have bought

Marshall Music in Wendywood has spring sales on from today untill end of the September 7(need to confirm the lst date) 10-20-30-40% of most items, depending brand, and that includes all items, guitars, bases, amps, saxes, keyboards....the lot whatever they got in the store. Nows the time to spend money,....if you got any that is.

I don't have any spare now... lol... just bought a guitar... tho... Maybe a collection of strings is in order... hehe
